石渠寶笈續編(養心殿),第二冊,頁1097 &*故宮書畫錄(第三卷),第一冊,頁141 &* 黃庭堅(西元一0四五-一一0五年)字魯直,號山谷道人,江西分寧人。工詩文,精於書,善行、草,楷法亦自成一家。縱橫奇倔,波瀾老成是黃氏書法特徵,與傳統規範大相徑庭。 此帖行書筆蹟沉實,結體左右傾側,中宮斂結,長筆外拓,與約書於五十五歲的〈苦筍帖〉書風相似,應是晚年之作。此帖曾為項元汴收藏,上有千字文第七八六「讀」字號。 &*故宮歷代法書全集,第十一冊,頁4-37、186-193&*黃庭堅(1045--1105)字魯直,號涪翁,江西分寧人。二十三歲中進士,歷官山西太和知縣,校書郎,著作佐郎,起居舍人,鄂州、涪州、戎州、宜州等知州。與張耒、晁補之、秦觀同游蘇軾門,世稱「蘇門四學士」,尤長於詩,與蘇軾齊名。書法淵源多種,主要受顏真卿、蘇軾和南朝刻石〈瘞鶴銘〉影響,紹聖元年(1094)貶黔中,見懷素草書〈自敘帖〉,受到很多啟發,用筆趨於圓勁,多連綿草勢。此信中提到為「龐老」《傷寒論》作序並校正差誤。龐氏名安時,蘄州(湖北蘄春縣)人,善醫術,與蘇軾也有交誼。自述「老來極懶」,與約書於五十五歲的<苦筍帖>的書風也相似,都是晚年之作。筆蹟沉實,結體左右傾側,蘇軾評黃庭堅書:「以平等觀作欹側字,以真實相出游戲法,以磊落人書細碎事,可謂三反。」顯示出與眾不同的創新意念。&* Huang Tingjian was a native of Fenning, Jiangxi. Gifted at poetry and prose, he excelled at calligraphy, especially running and cursive scripts; his regular script was also unique. Slanted and pointed throughout, the mature, wave-like manner here is a feature of Huang’s style quite different from traditional methods. The running script is solid and steady, the characters slanted from the lower left to upper right. The compact characters done in expressive, elongated strokes are similar in style to his “Ode on Bitter Bamboo Shoots” from the Chinese age of 55, making this most likely from his later years. This work was also in the collection of Xiang Yuanbian, bearing his accession number “du 讀,” the 786th character from “Thousand Character Classic.”
